Shutterdre – Terms & Conditions
Creative Ownership & Intellectual Property
General Agreement
-
All creative materials developed during sessions—including recordings, photographs, videos, written works, and other media—remain the property of the client unless otherwise specified in a written agreement.
-
This includes materials created during music production, photography, videography, or writing mentorship sessions.
Photography & Videography
-
Clients gain full ownership and usage rights to images and video content once full payment has been received.
-
Commercial Use: If the materials are to be used for commercial purposes (such as streaming platforms, advertising, or large-scale distribution), a separate licensing agreement may be required.
-
Until payment is made in full, Shutterdre retains copyright ownership of all materials.
Music Production & Lyrics
-
Tracks, lyrics, and musical compositions created during sessions are owned by the client only if agreed in writing prior to the project’s start.
-
Where Shutterdre is contributing as a producer, co-writer, or collaborator, copyright ownership and royalties will be discussed and agreed upon separately on a project-by-project basis.
-
For any material intended for release or commercial distribution (streaming, licensing, or sales), a new agreement will be drawn up outlining rights, credits, and revenue sharing.
Creative Guidance & Mentorship
-
All tools, templates, and techniques provided in mentorship sessions are for the client’s personal use only and may not be resold, distributed, or reproduced without permission.
-
Any work created by the client during mentorship remains entirely theirs.
Payment Terms
-
Full payment is required before ownership of materials or usage rights is transferred.
-
Payment terms and schedules will be agreed upon prior to the commencement of work.
-
Packages and single sessions are non-refundable once commenced unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Commercial Licensing & Collaboration
-
When projects involve Shutterdre as a collaborator (such as music production, co-writing, or creative direction), terms regarding royalties, credits, and licensing will be negotiated separately for each project.
-
A new contract will be issued for such cases outlining rights, obligations, and revenue agreements.
Liability & Responsibility
-
Shutterdre provides creative services, mentorship, and production guidance. Final decisions on content use, distribution, and implementation rest with the client.
-
Shutterdre is not liable for third-party claims arising from the client’s use of materials without appropriate licensing or credit.
Agreement to Terms
-
By booking a service or entering a mentorship with Shutterdre, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions unless otherwise specified in a separate written agreement.
